DOCTORS QUARTERS
Young and ambitious, they deal with life and death every day. They are four medical students in their final year who share constant competition for top marks, inhuman working hours and the daily emotional battering of caring for the sick in Nigerian General Hospital.
When their day of class lectures and ward rounds is over, they retreat to a place tucked away between bus stops and eateries, a rundown block of flats they have nicknamed DQ, for Doctors Quarters. The DQ doctors-to-be – Ugo, Molara, Sammy and Rakiya – must find a delicate balance between attending to patients in real-life medical situations under the watchful eyes of their professors, and living through the personal challenge and triumphs of young adult life.
Their personal journey is documented through the sensitive camera of a mutual friend, creating a document of their progress in achieving their dreams of becoming doctors and fulfilled individuals.
