Living On

The Revolution of April 25th, 1974 swept through Meia-Praia, a fishing community near Lagos, Algarve, leaving behind a unique adventure. Its inhabitants decided to replace the old, shabby stucco houses with stone cottages, and along with these there came the dream of a new fishing cooperative. The doubts, contradictions and weariness brought about by such a high-aiming project are shown against a backdrop of the first free elections held after the fall of the regime.
