About us

Marfilmes is an international distribution company based in Lisbon.

We represent several independent producers in Portugal, Brazil and Portuguese-speaking African countries. We have recently started collaborating with MNET, the most important South Africa broadcaster.

Having become one of the most important distributors of Portuguese-speaking programs, we are looking for new products coming from the South. We handle the international sales of media rights (TV, DVD, closed circuits, educational and internet) of a variety of programs: fiction series, feature films, short-films, animation and documentaries.

We have chosen to live by the sea but you can meet us every year at the most important International Festivals and Audiovisual Markets: MIPCOM, MIP-TV, Sunny Side of the Doc, IDFA, Rotterdam Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, MERCADOC and FIPA!
